Multiple gazes rise from within a fractured face, piercing the viewer without ever releasing the tension between defiance and renewal.
At the center of the vertical composition, a narrow bridge of the nose and lips remns, while blue eyes are arranged in stacked positions on both sides. Black contour lines, sharp fragments of red and yellow, washes of blue, and scraped-looking white spaces intersect in dense layers, exposing erased traces and added marks on the same surface. The vertical drips read like wounds, yet scattered points of bright white open passages for the eye, leaving an undimmed will inside an expression on the verge of collapse.
